My Dear Family y Amigos,
I had another good week down here in hot Mexico!:)
For the first time I experienced a little bit of awkward unrequited love missionaries get sometimes, jaja. It wasnt as bad as Other Side of Heaven, but the awkward was still there. We are teaching this family and they have 2 sons who are 16 and 18. The 16 year old is nice, but creepy, jaja. The first time we met and taught them he was eye-ballin me like a rumproast, for reals. The next visit we had I met the 18 year old son and he wasnt creepy at all! But everytime since we've visited just the Mom and EVERYTIME she is trying to hook me up with her son, telling me how he was so amazed by my beauty and how one year older really isnt all that much, jaja. I eventually just told her I had a boyfriend! So she said if it doesnt work out I can come back for her son, jaja. #howaboutno When I get back to the states I am going to have such bad self-esteem being all normal looking again, jaja.
This week we had DIVISIONS for the first time with the sister training leaders! At first I was so scared because it would mean I would have to know where to find all of our houses and which comvies to take and stuff, but it was AWESOME!! I feel like I learned so much. By the end of the day I almost cried to have to tell them goodbye. It was an amazing blessing to learn from them and learn more about myself, too. I talked so much and helped teaching so much with them, it made me realize I need to step up because the Lord is ready to help me!
This weekend we had the amazing experience to re-dedicate the Mexico City temple:) We had the transmission right to our chapel! As missionaries we stayed for all 3 of the sessions, and it was a great experience! President Hyring and Elder Holland came, so their talks were in English with translators- and I about died with happiness, jaja.It was amazing hearing from apostles of the Lord and feeling the spirit of the Temple:) Plus, only members could attend the dedication so there was no disappointment for investigators not coming to church, right? ;)
BUT- the night before we also got to see the cultural celebration of the Temple and AN INVESTIGATOR CAME!!!! It about broke me to actually see an investigator within the walls of our church, jaja. I was so amazed and SO HAPPY! His name is Luis and he is really nice.. I am also about 98% sure he is gay. But we'll cross that bridge when we cover the Law of Chastity;) for now, WOOHOO! Hopefully he and all the others will come to church this Sunday, too!:):)
I love you all and hope you have an amazing week! Remember when the Lord asks you to jump- JUST DO IT! He will catch you or he will teach you to fly.

PS- I totally came up with that sick quote right there as I was writing. Someone pinterest that as a beautiful word art, please!;)
